About Flora & Fauna Fieldwork Projects People Supporters

The Awana Catchment Trust relies on the goodwill and generosity of public and private donors.

Our public donors include the Auckland City Council Heritage Fund and the Department of Conservation (DoC).

We have also received private donations from The Rufford Small Grants Fund, which is part of the Whitney Awards Foundation, and ACT founders John Allen and Diana van de Kamp.

ACT aims to attract new donors so it can implement and expand on its key conservation and educational goals.

ACT has continued to remove feral predators and monitor wildlife in
the Awana area on
Great Barrier Island.
